Welcome to Silver Birches
Hello! Karen, Jo and Kay would like to welcome you to Silver Birches Children’s Centre. Our main building is in the grounds of St Catherine’s Primary School in Park Road, Ware and we also provide sessions at the village halls in Thundridge and High Cross.
The Centre provides a range of activities for families and carers and their children aged 0-5 years. Regular Stay & Play sessions are available for all ages (please see below for details of our latest sessions). Activities vary from week to week and we encourage family parents/carers to join in and support their children.
Examples of these activities include: baby soft play (sensory toys and story books), active play (ball pond, hula hoops, tents, tunnels and bean bags), messy play (spaghetti, jelly, sand, water and sparkly snow), painting and craft (cut & stick, collage, free painting), and music (action songs, rhymes with puppets and instruments).
Information and signposting to local services is provided for families, and staff are here to provide support when needed. Parenting, first aid, training courses and other group activities can be arranged according to the needs and interests of local families. We look forward to welcoming you to our Centre.
