Peartree Day Nursery has been trusted to serve families in Welwyn Garden City for 20 years. It has developed a warm homely environment with its own unique qualities that make the nursery a special and fun place to be. We pride ourselves on our colourful displays, free flow rooms and a wide variety of different activities from arts to garden play.

We are open from 7.00am until 6.30pm, Monday to Friday, except for the week between Christmas and New Year and on Bank Holidays. We cater very much for working parents and carers offering both full and part time places.

Areas to suit your child's development The children are divided into specific areas with activities geared to each age level. There is a Babies unit and a Toddlers and Pre-School Area. All areas have been designed to provide maximum benefit and fun for the children. They include: story corners, sleep areas, sensory areas, IT area, messy space and an eating area.  We also have a recently renovated garden, securely fenced garden , used by each age group in turn. It also has an under cover area so the children can still get fresh air (when weather permits!) all year round.

In extreme weather, we have a sports hall for the children to crawl, toddle, run and jump in! Our people Our professional staff are highly trained and as an employer we are committed to their continued training and development. But, most of all, we are friendly and take pride in caring for your loved ones.

We make special efforts to maintain a bond with parents and carers and help them to share the hours that their children spend with us. Every child has a progress chart and for the very young we keep a daily diary of their development.
