Mabel’s Story

The YMCA is welcomes people of all ages. One day, Mabel aged 78, decided to drop into Space for a cup of coffee – she always wondered what went on in there and decided to take a look!

Chatting to staff she realised all the things that Space could offer her, and she decided to sign up to a beginners computer course. As well as making new friends she is now able to e-mail her grandchildren and feels that she is able to keep more in touch with her family.
