The chart below shows that 40% of our funding comes from Grants. We are very reliant on government funding specifically for our Children’s Centres and providing supported accommodation for the residents that live in our YMCA Housing.  The Government’s plans to reduce Public spending may well have a significant impact on our funding streams and therefore to continue providing our services we have invested in diversifying our incomes streams.

Growth in Youth & YMCA Space programme & fundraising

Diversifying our income streams has enabled us to develop our Youth programme and YMCA Space community programme.  By investing some of our reserves in starting up these pilot projects we have now been able to secure a significant Lottery grant of £450,000 over the next 3 years.
