Gift Aid

By letting us know that you would like to Gift Aid your donations we receive almost one third more  - at no cost to you!

UK Charities are entitled to reclaim 25% tax reclaim from the Inland Revenue on every £1 donated by UK taxpayers. Unfortunately, YMCA Central Herts often misses out on this extra income because people are still largely unaware of the Gift Aid scheme.

Therefore if you are a UK taxpayer and are making a single donation please supply your  full name and home address so that we can process this for Gift Aid.

If you are a regular giver you will have the option to Gift Aid your donation on our direct debit form and through our online partner JustGiving. Our sponsorship forms also include a Gift Aid box - remember to ensure that your sponsors complete their full address and tick the box.

Please allow the tax man to give us some extra money!

N.B. Gift Aid can only be processed from individual taxpayers. We cannot claim Gift Aid on donations from company accounts. The donation must be your own money and not the proceeds of a collection.
