YMCA Central Herts is in an exciting period of growth and expansion of its services to meet the needs of its local communities. Due to this, we are recruiting for various roles across the organisation.

Bank Staff Childcare Practioners & Lunch Cover Hours - Flexible Hours £6.12 - £8.12 per hour depending on qualification level

We are looking for applicants to join our list of bank staff within our daycare nursery in Hatfield. The ideal candidate will provide a safe, caring and professional environment for the children in their care.

The position is ideal for a university student or a mother who is looking for some extra hours around their studies or child attending school. Applicants from all walks of life are welcome, especially if you feel you have a skill that you can offer. This could be as simple as good storytelling, cooking, or a passion for working with children.

Working hours for 'bank staff' are offered as a zero hour agreement. This is in no way contractual and it would be up to us as an employer and you as the employee to agree hours of work where available to meet the needs of the business.

Working hours for 'lunch cover staff' are contracted and we have the following positions available currently. 

Countess Anne Nursery, Hatfield

1 x 12 hour per week post

1 x 10 hour per week post

Peartree Lane Nursery, Welwyn Garden City

1 x 10 hour per week post
