Remember a Charity Week 2012

17th - 23rd September 2012!

YMCA Central Herts is pleased to be involved with Remember A Charity Week, which runs from 17th – 23rd September and is the UK's largest cross charity campaign.

Joanna Christophi, Director of Fundraising and Marketing said, “It’s a common myth that you have to be wealthy to leave a gift to charity in your will, but nothing could be further from the truth. After taking care of family and friends, you’ll be amazed at what one final gift, no matter how big or small, can do.

YMCA Central Herts supports over 2,300 people every year across a wide range of facilities, including YMCA Supported Housing, YMCA Space Youth and Community Centres, Children’s Centres and Day Nurseries. Donations from members of the public ensure that these services, courses, and sessions continue to run and expand, helping more people in the future.

Mrs Christophi Continued, “Whatever the amount we’re extremely grateful for any gift that’s been left to us, as it will help us to continue our vital work within the local community. We don’t expect you to write or update your will right now; we only ask that you keep YMCA Central Herts in mind over Remember a Charity week.”
